ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR, TENURE-TRACK
SCHOOL OF BUSINESS

Position Number: FO237 (Marketing)
Salary Range: Commensurate with Education and Experience
Appointment Date: Fall 2007

Duties and Responsibilities: Teaches 9 undergraduate semester hours in Marketing; to provide academic advisement to participate in scholarly endeavors; and to serve on departmental, school, and university committees. Required Qualifications: Earned doctorate from an AACSB accredited university in Marketing with sufficient experience or qualifications to meet AACSB criteria for academically or professionally qualified status. ABDs are invited to apply provided completion of the doctorate is accomplished by Fall 2008. Visiting Positions

The School of Business at Virginia State University invites applications for a one-year visiting professor position in Marketing for the 2007-2008 academic year. Teaching responsibilities are in the undergraduate program. Candidates at the Assistant, Associate and Full Professor level are encouraged to apply. The position is not a tenure-track position. Successful candidates must be academically qualified to teach a variety of undergraduate classes. The teaching load is three to four classes per semester. Salary is $60,000. Screening will continue until the positions are filled.
