Assistant professor in Marketing

The Marketing Section of the Rotterdam School of Economics currently has openings for an assistant professor or postdoc position, starting between January 2008 and September 2008. The position requires strong quantitative research skills and the ability to publish in top academic journals. Candidates should have a Ph.D. degree (or at least finished the manuscript) at the time of appointment, and a well motivated interest in pursuing an academic career in Europe.
The Department has recently expanded and members of the department now include Stefan Stremersch, Philip Hans Franses, Benedict Dellaert, Bas Donkers, Aurelie Lemmens, Vardit Landsman, Walter van Dyck, Willem Verbeke and Sonja Wendel, amongst others. The department’s research is published in journals such as the Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Marketing, and Marketing Science, and covers areas like high technology marketing, diffusion models, consumer decision-making, and life sciences marketing.
