The AMA Global Marketing SIG is sponsoring a special track at the International Conference on Global Business Innovation and Development for Economic Growth in the Global Environment in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, January 16-19, 2008.
Global markets and operations force companies to rethink their business innovation and research activities, and, in turn, their overall organizational competitiveness. To be successful in this global market, organizations should engage in effective business innovation and research in a timely and collaborative manner. To provide world-class customer service, advanced business innovation and research management techniques supported by management commitment and good organizational infrastructure are needed to provide objective means of improving organizational competitiveness. This compels researchers and practitioners alike to look at various business innovation and research issues from the perspective of needs, issues and enablers.
The Global SIG is sponsoring several sessions at this conference and the author of the best paper from our sessions will receive free registration at the conference.
