Assistant/Associate Professor in Marketing
School of Management and Business

St. Edward’s University invites applications for a full-time, tenure track position in Marketing to begin Fall 2007. The position on the faculty of the School of Management & Business will be filled at the assistant or associate professor level with salary depending on qualifications and experience. The teaching responsibility will be in both the Undergraduate Business Program and the MBA Program, with primary teaching responsibility in the Undergraduate Business Program. This position is posted as a nine month contract.

Responsibilities
Teach four courses per semester, two semesters per year for a nine-month contract or teach four courses per trimester, three trimesters per year on a twelve-month contract.
Interact with business and non-profit community to develop service learning projects and opportunities for students.
Develop new courses and curriculum as needed.
Continue development of expertise in teaching areas and graduate pedagogy.
Continue record of research and publications.
Participate in School of Management and Business and University projects, events, and committee work.
Work with colleagues on assessment of learning outcomes and on recruitment and retention of students.
Fulfill other required faculty responsibilities as outlined in the faculty manual.

Qualifications
Ph.D. in Marketing from an AACSB accredited institution required.
Substantial and progressively responsible industry and/or consulting experience required.
Substantial College/University teaching experience at the graduate and undergraduate levels required.
Record of scholarly research and publications required.
Excellent written and spoken English communication skills required.
Excellent interpersonal skills required.
Prior teaching experiences and course design at the graduate and undergraduate levels required.
Bi-lingual Spanish communication skills preferred.
Successful completion of an employment and/or criminal history background check required.

POSITIONS IN CONSUMER BEHAVIOR/MARKETING

The A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University is seeking to hire up to three Consumer Behavior/Marketing faculty.  Visitors and/or Clinical Professors, tenure-track Assistant, Associate, or Full-Professor applicants will be considered.  These positions are subject to final university determination on funding.  Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Consumer Behavior or Marketing or a closely related field.  Those expecting to complete their degree this academic year will also be considered.  The positions begin July 1, 2007.  We will consider applications until the positions are filled.
