FACULTY POSITION IN MARKETING
COLLEGE OF MANAGEMENT, GEORGIA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY
The College of Management at the Georgia Institute of Technology is seeking candidates for tenure-track faculty positions, starting fall 2007. We will consider candidates from the assistant to the chaired professor level. Successful candidates should either have an established record of scholarship with top research publications or demonstrate potential for publishing in the top journals. We seek candidates with excellence in research and teaching. Salary and a teaching load of three semester courses per year are extremely competitive with leading research universities.
The College of Management is one of the leading business schools in the country offering programs leading to the Bachelors, Masters, and Ph.D. degrees in Management. The College of Management has over 50 full-time faculty members and provides excellent opportunities for inter-disciplinary research programs both within the College and other departments in Georgia Tech. Examples of such collaboration include the Engineering Entrepreneurship Research Program, the Technological Innovation: Generating Economic Results (TI:GER), and the Management of Technology programs within the College. In 2003, the College moved into its new home in Technology Square, which includes the Global Learning Center, Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center, and the Economic Development Institute. The College also has a Center for International Business and Education Research (GT-CIBER) that supports faculty research and curriculum development.

Marketing Faculty – Tenure Track
The Bertolon School of Business at Salem State College is seeking to fill a tenure track position in Marketing for the Fall of 2007. Teaching load is 12 hours. The position is advertised pending funding. Required qualifications include a Ph.D. or DBA in Marketing. Preferred qualifications include a Ph.D. or DBA in Marketing, with emphasis on business to business, logistics, or sales, previous University/College teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or graduate (MBA) level, and research and scholarly publications in a related field (Marketing). We prefer candidates with experience in and commitment to teaching in a multiracial, multiethnic environment with students of diverse backgrounds and learning styles, as well as in distance learning and instructional technologies, and candidates who enjoy serving as role models and mentors for a diverse student body. The salary is competitive and commensurate with education and experience. Application review will begin in the Fall of 2006 and continue until an adequate pool is developed.
