The Advertising Research Foundation Partners with World Advertising Research Center to Publish the Journal of Advertising Research
July 27, 2006 (New York, NY) – The ARF (Advertising Research Foundation) and World Advertising Research Center (WARC) are delighted to announce that the quarterly Journal of Advertising Research (JAR) is now being published by WARC on behalf of the ARF.
The JAR provides marketing professionals with shared insights to help them make better advertising decisions. It has been published since 1960 and is one of the industry’s premier journals. It is available in print format and at www.jar.warc.com.
WARC will produce, print and distribute the JAR to subscribers and ARF members. WARC plans to significantly expand the online presence of JAR and, for the first time, ARF members will have online access to the JAR archive. WARC has also announced a major marketing campaign, designed to build the JAR brand in Europe and Asia as well as the US.
"The JAR encourages thought-leaders from all parts of our industry to contribute innovative studies and useful insights to the journal. The capabilities of World Advertising Research Center will enable practioners and academics alike to contribute on a more convenient and timely basis," said Dr. Joseph Plummer, chief research officer at the ARF and editor of the JAR.
