THE UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN-DEARBORN, School of Management invites applications for tenure-track Marketing faculty positions, available May or September 2007.  Research specialty is open. Qualifications for this position include a Ph.D. or ABD with an emphasis in Marketing or related discipline. Successful applicants will be dedicated to quality teaching, research, and helping build our rapidly growing school.  Applicants with strong skills in teaching the MBA core marketing course, as well as the ability to teach either B2B marketing, new product development, channels of distribution, sales management, personal selling, or advertising, are preferred. The Department of Marketing in the College of Business and Economics invites applications for two assistant professor tenure-track positions in Marketing to begin August 2007.

Position One:

Preference will be given to candidates whose primary interests are in the areas of professional selling/sales management or retailing.

Position Two:

This position is subject to final authorization from the University.  Applicants in all marketing specialties will be considered.

Requirements for both positions include an earned doctorate in Marketing (or ABD status in final stage of degree completion) from a college of business.  A strong interest in undergraduate and graduate teaching, evidence of research potential, and a capacity to support efforts to enhance the marketing curriculum are expected.  Salary and benefits are competitive and depend on the finalist’s qualifications.
