Hofstra University’s Department of Marketing & International Business invites applications for one full-time tenure track position effective Fall 2007. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate IB and Marketing courses, research and professional activity, as well as student advisement and school service. Doctoral degree (ABDs will be considered), in International Business, Marketing or related discipline and strong teaching abilities and research skills are required.
Research and publications associated with international business and/or marketing are both required and supported.
Our Long Island suburban location offers close proximity to the New York Metropolitan area’s recreational, and cultural opportunities; and for those with young families, access to the best school districts in the nation. The department’s 16 full-time faculty has close to 600 Marketing and 200 International Business majors at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The Zarb School offers BBA, BBA/MBA, BBA/MS, MBA, EMBA, JD/MBA and MS degrees. Both undergraduate and graduate programs are AACSB accredited.

Marketing Faculty
California State University, San Marcos has one or more tenure-track positions available in Marketing beginning Fall 2007. Applicants for all ranks will be considered, but Senior Associate or Full Professors are preferred. Candidates with experience teaching fundamentals of marketing, consumer behavior, research and/or marketing communications will be given preference. The ability to teach marketing strategy and marketing management to support long-term curriculum development will also be considered. Teaching responsibilities may include both undergraduate and MBA levels.
Applicants should possess an appropriate doctorate from an accredited university and demonstrate teaching excellence, the ability to complete quality research and the desire to be involved with the business community. Strong ABD candidates will be considered. Salary is competitive with peer institutions.
CSUSM is a rapidly growing university with approximately 7,800 total students, 1800 undergraduate business, and 140 MBA students, and is expected to grow to 25,000 at full capacity. Applications are invited from qualified individuals for one or more full-time tenure-track positions, rank open, on the marketing faculty starting in August 2007 or negotiable after close date, subject to budget approval. Salary is competitive.
We are particularly interested in persons who have achieved prominence or who have the potential to achieve prominence through research and teaching in the marketing area. All areas will be considered; however, we are specifically looking for people to teach both undergraduate and graduate level courses in marketing management, marketing strategy, product development and supply chain management. Excellence in scholarship and teaching is of primary importance. A Ph.D. or D.B.A. degree must be completed or near completion.

Assistant/Associate Professor at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. The Marketing Department invites applications for two position beginning August 15, 2007. We seek faculty colleagues with diverse backgrounds and experiences who can add to the level of preparation of our graduates to successfully work in a dynamic business environment. The Belk College of Business has six departments and over 3,000 students. The College strives to develop a deep understanding of and respect for diversity among students and colleagues. Therefore, we encourage applications from professionals who can help us achieve this goal.
Responsibilities. We are seeking colleagues with primary interests in Sports Marketing and a secondary interest in Internet Marketing, Services Marketing, Marketing Research or International Marketing at the undergraduate and graduate level. Applicants should have a commitment to a stream of research that will lead to high quality publications.
Qualifications. Candidates must hold an earned PhD or DBA in Marketing from an accredited university (by August 2007). We are seeking faculty with an active research agenda who have had successful teaching experience at the college or university level.
