CEIBS (China Europe International Business School), Shanghai, invites applications for the position of Associate Professor of Marketing, beginning September 2006 or January 2007. Suitable candidates will hold a PhD in marketing or related area and be able to make strong contributions to the marketing group’s research and teaching activities. Candidates are expected to have a record of research activity directed at publication in leading academic journals, and a strong interest and ability to teach marketing strategy/management plus an elective in a specialty area at the MBA and executive levels. Applicants with experience in teaching consumer behavior, advertising, services marketing, channels management, or salesforce management are especially encouraged to apply.

The A. Gary Anderson Graduate School of Management at the University of California, Riverside invites applications for up to four full-time tenure-track faculty positions as Assistant Professor in Marketing to begin July 1, 2007. We seek candidates with highly sophisticated research training who can demonstrate the potential for outstanding accomplishment and scholarly distinction in marketing. Research area is open but preference will be given to candidates with strong methodological training and behavioral research interests. Teaching opportunities are available at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Candidates must have the Ph.D. or expect the degree to be conferred by the date of appointment.
As of July 1, 2006, UCR’s current marketing faculty will include Professors Donna Hoffman, Tom Novak, Jorge Silva-Risso and Shuba Srinivasan. Professors Hoffman and Novak are building a state-of-the-art online laboratory and respondent panel for cutting-edge survey, experimental and Web-based research, and establishing the University of California, Riverside Sloan Center for Internet Retailing. The school also plans to introduce a marketing Ph.D. program in the next several years; candidates in all areas of marketing and related disciplines are encouraged to apply.

KENAN EVREN CHAIR IN TURKISH BUSINESS STUDIES
The Kenan Evren Chair in Turkish Business Studies at Florida Atlantic University (FAU) will be filled on a rotating basis by a distinguished individual knowledgeable about international business and the Turkish economy. The Kenan Evren Professor will teach an international business or related course in part or in its entirety, contribute to graduate seminars in international business or economic issues, and conduct research of interest to Florida and Turkey. The Chair will be filled during the spring semester of the academic year, which runs from January through April. Holders of the Chair will spend a minimum of two months in residence.
Initial private funding for the Chair was obtained through the efforts of Mrs. Suheyla Gençsoy, a member of the Florida Atlantic University Foundation Board and president of the Fort Lauderdale-based Turkish American Business Education and Cultural Committee (TABEC). Additional grants of funds were provided by the Republic of Turkey and the State of Florida.
The inaugural holder of the Chair will join the College of Business during spring semester 2007. Applications are also being accepted for 2008 and 2009.
Each applicant should electronically submit a letter of interest, curriculum vitae, synopsis of potential teaching and research interests at FAU (e.g.., the Mediterranean free trade area, the role of Turkey in the European Union, US-Turkish international economic relations, etc.) and indicate availability during the spring semester.
The Kenan Evren Chair will be paid a negotiated stipend while at FAU depending on the length of time in residence. Marketing Faculty Position
The College of Business and Administration at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs has an opening for a tenure-track position in Marketing starting in August 2007. The preference of the College of Business is to hire at the assistant professor level.
An earned doctorate in marketing or related area from an AACSB accredited university is strongly preferred. ABD applicants must have completed all doctoral qualifying exams and course requirements, and they must be able to persuasively demonstrate that all degree requirements will be completed by the start date.
This position entails both a teaching and a research emphasis. Candidates should be able to demonstrate the ability, interest, and plans to conduct and publish managerially-oriented research in high-quality journals. Candidates must provide evidence of teaching excellence and demonstrate the ability and interest to teach effectively in undergraduate and graduate MBA courses. Teaching interests in any managerial marketing area will be considered, but those with interests in international marketing/business, e-commerce, marketing strategy, and business strategy are preferred. Candidates should be committed to further enhancing our collegial environment. Industry work experience is a strong plus.
