I have developed a new Services Management Simulation, in collaboration with Randy Chapman (author of the LINKS simulations). I have used an earlier version of this services simulation for many years and have found it to be very effective and enjoyable learning experience for both undergraduates and graduates.  It has now been enhanced for general academic use, with an online student interface, instructor materials and so forth.

If you wish to learn more about the new LINKS Services Management Simulation, you can view an online demonstration at the LINKS website: http://www.LINKS-simulations.com. You can also download a complete participant’s manual from the website.

In addition, you can register for a one-hour "Briefing" and/or a five-day "Train-The-Trainer" distance-learning session.  No prior preparation is required to participate in a "Briefing."  There are two time slots to choose from:  Mon May 8 @ 300pm or Tue May 9 @ 100pm.

LINKS Train-the-Trainer distance-learning sessions are for academic faculty wishing to learn more about teaching with LINKS prior to adoption and use in their courses.  These "hands on" sessions are scheduled for May 31-June 6.  A total time commitment of 16-18 hours (including pre-reading of the participant’s manual) is typical.  Information about Train-The-Trainer sessions is available at:  http://www.LINKS-simulations.com/SMttt.pdf.

There is no cost to participate in LINKS Briefings or Train-The-Trainer sessions.  However, you are responsible for your own long-distance calling charges for teleconferences.

If you have any general questions about the simulation, I am happy to respond to email or chat with you.  I will also be participating in the Briefing and Train-the-Trainer sessions.

If you wish to register for either session, please contact Randy Chapman (chapman@chapmanrg.com).  There is limited enrollment to permit a comfortable opportunity for discussion during the teleconferences.  He is also the best person to ask detailed questions about the other LINKS simulations.
