The Competence Centre Marketing at Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School wants to be an internationally recognised player in the development and dissemination of marketing management knowledge on the basis of high-quality scientific research, excellence in teaching, and strong international networking with relevant business and academic communities.
At this moment, the Competence Centre Marketing counts 6 marketing professors, 2 doctoral researchers, 4 research and teaching associates, 2 managers, and 1 secretary. The Competence Centre is known for its entrepreneurship and young, dynamic spirit. The function
In order to accomplish our objectives, the Competence Centre Marketing is looking for an assistant professor of marketing being able to integrate academic work with managerial know-how. The candidate should be able to build a competitive advantage and to position the Competence Centre Marketing on the international map of fundamental research in marketing.
Your profile
- PhD in marketing from an accredited university or business school
- Evidence of the candidate’s ability and motivation to become a respected scholar and educator in consumer behavior and corporate social responsibility (CSR) marketing
- Scholarly publications, preferably in the area of consumer behavior and CSR
- Be able to merge fundamental theoretical knowledge with practical relevance
- Evidence of well-developed teaching achievement using cases and excellent support skills for project guidance will help to secure this position

University Lectureship in Marketing (continuing)
Judge Business School, University of Cambridge
Judge Business School at the University of Cambridge is looking to recruit an exceptional candidate to make a significant contribution to our growing School. Successful candidates will have a PhD in Marketing and provide clear evidence of intellectual excellence with the potential to establish a publications record in the leading journals in the field. Experience of teaching at undergraduate, postgraduate or post-experience level is essential. All specialty areas within marketing are encouraged to apply to complement the group’s current expertise in services marketing, marketing strategy, and product innovation.
The salary will be on the current scale of £25,565 – £39,452. There is opportunity to increase the basic salary by taking on additional teaching duties on our MBA and Executive Education Programmes. The position carries the equivalent of a 1/1 teaching load, although the successful candidate will have a lighter load in his or her first year. There is an entitlement to sabbatical leave, accumulated on the basis of one term’s leave for every six terms (i.e., two years) in office.

Applications for a permanent position at the Associate Professor, Senior Lecturer or Lecturer (Assistant Prof) level, are invited in all areas of Marketing although preference will be given to those with a background in Consumer Behaviour, Marketing Communications and/or Marketing Research.
Applicants would normally have a doctoral qualification or be close to completing a PhD. Teaching experience, a record of research and practical experience would be an advantage. The Department teaches a broad range of undergraduate, graduate and executive courses.

Visiting Faculty of Marketing
The Campbell School of Business at Berry College invites applications and nominations for a one-year visiting instructor/assistant professor position in Marketing. Teaching responsibilities are primarily in the undergraduate program, but may also include our MBA program. The Campbell School offers undergraduate and MBA programs in business administration. Candidates should have an earned doctorate or be an ABD.
