Product Placement in Textbooks
Bill Keep has some questions, and would like to generate dialog, on product placement in marketing textbooks

I am not sure that I want to place this question before the community but it has been nagging at me. Do we know to what extent marketing textbooks, perhaps mostly principles but maybe others, benefit from the use of paid product placements within the textbook and support material? Perhaps the question has already been asked. Or, perhaps this isn’t an issue of concern for many faculty members.
