The School of Business and Technology at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside invites applications for a position as a Visiting Assistant/Associate Professor of Marketing for the academic year 2006-2007.

Required Qualifications: Ph.D. or D.B.A. in Marketing (ABD will be considered). Applicants must be able to teach sections of undergraduate Introduction to Marketing, Buyer Behavior, and Marketing Research. Candidates are expected to teach other marketing courses in the undergraduate or MBA programs, as needed. Applicants must provide clear evidence of a commitment to scholarly research and quality teaching. Applicants at the associate rank must meet these requirements and provide evidence of quality teaching and an active journal publication record that is commensurate with the associate rank.

Experience working with students from a variety of economic, cultural and linguistic backgrounds and the use of a variety of pedagogical styles is preferred.

The Undergraduate Business and MBA programs are accredited by the AACSB. The School offers baccalaureate programs in Business, Management Information Systems, and Computer Science. The Business program supports concentrations in accounting, finance, human resource management, marketing, and general business. Located in northern Kenosha County in the Chicago-Milwaukee corridor, much of the university’s 700-acre campus has been preserved in its natural wooded and prairie state. Well-known firms such as Daimler-Chrysler Corporation, Case New Holland (CNH), Jockey International, JohnsonDiversey, S.C. Johnson & Son, Inc., and Snap-on, Inc. are located minutes from the University.

Marketing Department: Two-Year Visiting Position

The Marketing Department at Ohio University invites applications for a visiting position to be filled for Fall 2006. Rank is open and all areas of expertise will be considered.  The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching marketing courses­using a combination of face-to-face, web-based, and video-based distance learning methods­on our five regional campuses located in Southeast Ohio.  This position is a two-year visiting position with the possibility of becoming a tenure track position.
