Tenure track and visiting positions at the Indian School of
Business Hyderabad.
The Indian School of Business (ISB – website: www.isb.edu) invites
applications for tenure track faculty positions in marketing at all
levels. The ISB was set up in 2000 in Hyderabad, India in
association with the Kellogg School, the Wharton School and the
London School of Business. Its primary offering is a one-year MBA
program. There are also many opportunities for teaching in the
executive education programs run by the school throughout the year.
As an intensive one year program, terms are structured to be of five
week lengths, with twenty contact hours per course. With this unique
structure, it is possible to condense the teaching load into one or
more concentrated periods.
The School offers generous research support to tenure track faculty
in terms of annual research funding, conference grants, and ad hoc
project funding. The diversity and quality of visiting faculty
members in marketing teaching in the MBA program throughout the year
also make for a very stimulating research environment. A behavioral
laboratory is in the process of being set up to enable behavioral
research.
The state of the art campus architecture and facilities make for a
very conducive academic atmosphere. Hyderabad is well connected to
all cities in India and increasingly, many international cities. As
the second capital of India’s ever growing software and BPO
industries, it is also becoming an important hub for business in the
region.
If you would like to explore opportunities for tenure track
positions, or long term visiting options (on sabbatical or
otherwise), we invite you to meet with Professor Jagmohan S Raju at
the AMA winter conference in St. Petersburg Florida. Please send
your vita to rajuj@wharton.upenn.edu with a copy marked to Professor
Rammohan Rao, the Dean of the ISB, at mr_rao@isb.edu.
