Subject: ANNOUNCE: AMA Academic Council Nominations Sought
The American Marketing Association Academic Council is the elected leadership group for the AMA Academic Division. This year four council seats are open for a contested election among nominees selected by the nominating committee to appear on the ballot. Academic Council members are elected for a three-year term of service that begins on July 1.
As immediate past-president of the Academic Division, one responsibility is to solicit potential nominees from the AMA membership. If you would like to have someone considered by the nominating committee for potential inclusion on the ballot, please send that person’s name, academic affiliation, e-mail address, and phone number to me by e-mail (address below) by Friday, February 10. No other materials need to be provided at this time. The nominating committee will be meeting at the Winter Educators’ Conference in St. Petersburg to initiate the process
of finalizing a slate of candidates.
