The Behavioral Decision Making group at the UCLA Anderson School invites submission of papers, symposia, and posters for the 10th Biennial conference on Behavioral Decision Research in Management, to be held June 15-18, 2006 at Loew’s Santa Monica Beach Hotel in Santa Monica, California. The conference will include a pre-conference on teaching decision making (organized by J. Frank Yates), a special session to honor the contribution of Amos Tversky (organized by Eldar Shafir) and a keynote address by Lee Ross (Stanford University). We encourage submission of original research all areas of behavioral decision research, especially as it applies to management and related disciplines. This includes but is not lim ited to work in the areas of consumer behavior, organizational behavior, negotiation, managerial decision making, behavioral finance, experimental and behavioral economics, decision analysis, behavioral strategy, behavioral operations research, behavioral accounting, medical and legal decision making. We also encourage submission of posters for presentation at a pre-conference on teaching decision making, June 15 (for further information, contact Frank Yates, jfyates@bus.umich.edu). The submission deadline is March 15, 2006, with final decisions expected by the first week of April. The conference web site is listed at:
