Claremont Graduate University – Faculty Position in Marketing
Nominations and applications are invited for a permanent or visiting
position in Marketing at the Peter F. Drucker and Masatoshi Ito
Graduate School of Management. Appointment at the rank of associate or
full professor is likely, but senior assistant professors with the
requisite experience may be considered. The position includes
responsibility for research and teaching at both the MBA and Executive
Management levels.
Candidates must have completed a doctoral degree and must have at
least two years of teaching experience at the graduate/executive
level. In addition, candidates must have a strong record of
scholarship; an interest in diverse approaches, students and
populations; and a demonstrated ability to make their intellectual
contributions accessible to experienced managers through teaching and
published work. Executive level management or consulting experience is
desirable.

Assistant/Associate Professor of Marketing position beginning August
2006. UTC is a metropolitan university with long standing AACSB
accreditation at both the undergraduate and MBA levels. Teaching
interest in one or more of the following areas is preferred: personal
selling, distribution, and business to business. Responsibilities
include teaching nine credit hours per semester, research leading to
refereed journal publications, university service, and involvement

Rank: Department Head for the Department of Marketing and Analysis,
Louisiana Tech University
Position: The College of Administration and Business invites
applications for the Department Head of Marketing and Analysis with
service commencing in the summer or fall of 2006. The Department
Head’s responsibilities are to provide administrative and academic
leadership within the department, teach a reduced load of classes,
engage in appropriate scholarly research, promote appropriate
scholarly research in the department, support faculty development, and
contribute to the overall activities of the College. The department
head will have the opportunity to provide curriculum guidance in
marketing and quantitative analysis at the undergraduate, master’s,
and doctoral levels. The College provides a major in marketing at the
undergraduate level, a specialty in marketing or quantitative analysis
at the MBA level, and a major and minor in both marketing and
quantitative analysis at the DBA level.
Qualifications: Candidates should possess an earned terminal degree
(Ph.D. or DBA) in marketing or quantitative analysis (statistics or
operations research) from an AACSB-accredited university, present a
record of ongoing scholarly research and publication sufficient to
support appointment as a tenure-track Associate or Full Professor,
provide evidence of leadership in an academic environment, and be
familiar with AACSB standards and procedures.
Location: Louisiana Tech University is in Ruston, Louisiana, which is
located in the north-central part of the state. Nestled among the
rolling hills and pines, Ruston is located on Interstate 20 and is 65
miles east of Shreveport, 30 miles west of Monroe, 150 miles south of
Little Rock, Arkansas, and 300 miles north of New Orleans.

The Department of Information Systems and Supply Chain Management at
TCU invites nominations and applications for the West Chair. The
ideal candidate will be a senior associate professor or junior full
professor with an international reputation as a distinguished scholar
in supply chain management.
In the past 4 ½ years, TCU has established an extremely competitive
program in integrated supply and value chain management. The
12-member department offers an undergraduate major in supply and value
chain management and an MBA concentration in the area. In addition to
teaching and research, the faculty are actively involved in supply
chain professional organizations such as CSCMP. We are looking for a
high-energy senior faculty member to be part of a team of colleagues
working together to build a nationally recognized supply chain
program.
This position entails teaching at both the undergraduate and MBA
levels, conducting state-of-the-art research, publishing in top-level
academic journals, interacting with business leaders, and playing a
leadership role in the Department. The ideal candidate will be someone
that enjoys mentoring junior faculty and wants to play an active role
in enhancing the reputation of the TCU program.
Industry experience and a demonstrated ability to develop and deliver
executive education and work closely with business leaders are
preferred. Executive MBA courses are offered in supply chain
management, statistics, and operations management and demonstrated
success teaching one or more of these EMBA courses are desirable.
The location of the Neeley School in the Dallas – Fort Worth Metroplex
is a tremendous advantage for our programs. The Metroplex is home to
17 Fortune and 17 Forbes 500 companies. The Supply and Value Chain
Center (SVCC) maintains strong relationships with the business
community to ensure our programs are relevant and our students are
