I’m looking to get a new mattress soon and could really use some advice. My wife and I currently have a queen size bed, but we’re thinking of upgrading to a king for more space. The problem is I tend to sleep hot while my wife is always cold at night. Do you think a twin XL mattress would help us regulate temperatures better since we’d each have our own space? I’m also a side sleeper while my wife sleeps on her back. Any tips on finding a mattress that will work for both of our needs would be greatly appreciated!

Deciding between twin and twin XL mattresses largely depends on your height and bedroom layout. This guide has an in-depth comparison to help you choose the right mattress size: twin vs twin xl Twin XL mattresses offer 5 extra inches of length while maintaining a slim width. This makes them ideal for tall teens and adults, or guest rooms with limited floor space. Standard twins are better for young kids who don’t need the extra length yet.
