George Schlossnagle
Founder and Chief Evangelist, SparkPostGeorge Schlossnagle is a Co-Founder, Chief Evangelist and a Member of the Board at SparkPost. George has been working in email since 1999, when he and his brother began developing what would become the Momentum mail transfer-agent at OmniTI. Following the spin-out of SparkPost from OmniTI in 2008, George held the roles of CEO and CTO before moving into his current role in 2020. George has overseen the evolution of enterprise-grade email sending and analytics over the past two decades.
George is an active participant in the global email community as well as a supporter of the Baltimore-area businesses, currently serving on the board of Circonus. George holds a patent for a method and system for adaptive delivery of digital messages. In his personal time, George enjoys cooking, backpacking and spending time on his Maryland farm with family.

April Mullen
Director of Brand and Content Marketing, SparkPostApril Mullen has over 14 years working in email for brands, agencies and in MarTech. Outside of SparkPost, Mullen is an Adjunct Professor of Digital Marketing at the University of Missouri-St. Louis and was critical in helping to develop the digital program’s initial curriculum for the changing digital age.
In June of 2016, Mullen co-founded Women of Email, an organization with over 5,000 members on six continents that is aimed at driving positive change within the industry and professional growth for women at all stages of their digital marketing careers.
Mullen was named to DMNews’ 40 Under 40 list in 2018 and DMNews’ 2019 Marketing Hall of Femme Women to Watch list

John Landsman
Manager, Research Analytics, SparkPostJohn Landsman has more than 30 years of experience in all aspects of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) development and deployment.
John joined SparkPost through their 2019 acquisition of eDataSource, Inc., having joined the latter in 2015. Previously, John spent ten years with the email unit (originally e-Dialog, Inc.) of eBay Enterprise Marketing Solutions (now Zeta Global). Prior to that, John spent ten years with Harte-Hanks, Inc., finishing as Vice President, Strategy and Analysis, for Harte-Hanks CRM Analytics.
John’s background also includes twelve years in various Corporate Staff positions at Federated Department Stores, Inc. (now Macy’s, Inc.). Named Director of Advertising Analysis in 1985, he initiated and led the project which created Federated’s first integrated customer database marketing system. After he left Federated in 1988, John owned and operated a retail marketing database and analytics consultancy, supporting major retail brands nationwide.
