Jon Rooney is the Vice President of Product Marketing at Unity, responsible for product marketing, content marketing and advocacy for Unity’s Create business focused on empowering creators to build real-time 3D experiences for games, digital twins and other industrial use cases. Previously, Jon was a marketing leader at Splunk, New Relic, Oracle and Domino Data Lab. Earlier in his career, Jon worked at Microsoft on Azure and developer platforms as well as a number of startups after beginning his career at Accenture. Born and raised in the Philadelphia area (to Jon, the Tri-State area is PA, NJ and DE), Jon graduated with a BA in English from the University of Pennsylvania and received an MBA at the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin.
