​David A. Griffith (PhD, Kent State University) is the Department Chairperson and Professor of Marketing in the College of Business and Economics at Lehigh University. His research focuses on international marketing strategy execution, inter-organizational governance and marketing manager decision-making. His research has been published in the Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Research, Strategic Management Journal, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Operations Management, and the Journal of Retailing, among others. He was named a “Rising Star” by ScienceWatch.com for the Economics & Business Discipline and has been recognized in numerous studies as one of the most prolific contributors to the field of international marketing/business. He recently ended his service as the Editor-in-Chief of the American Marketing Association’s Journal of International Marketing. He has received numerous awards for teaching excellence, such as the John D. and Dortha J. Withrow Endowed Teacher-Scholar Award (Michigan State University), the Dennis Ching Teaching Excellence Award (University of Hawaii Manoa) and was named an Outstanding Professor (University of Oklahoma).
