 Andrew Stephen is an assistant professor of business administration and the Katz Fellow in Marketing at the Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh. He has a PhD with distinction in Marketing from Columbia University. Andrew is a globally recognized expert on digital and social media marketing, and his research focuses on understanding the causes and consequences of social interactions in markets. His research considers topics such as social media, ecommerce, online word of mouth, and mobile marketing. His work has published in leading journals such as Harvard Business Review, Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Consumer Research, Marketing Science, and Psychological Science and has been covered by Businessweek, CNN, Financial Times, Forbes, Fortune, Huffington Post, New York Times, NPR, The Economist, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, and WIRED. Andrew teaches social media marketing strategy to MBAs and executives at the University of Pittsburgh and Columbia Business School, and also regularly teaches executive programs on social media marketing in Asia and Europe.
