Influencer Marketing

How to Turn Brand Influencers into Brand Advocates

Influencer marketing has been called “the next big thing in marketing.” Eight out of 10 marketers say they plan to use influencer marketing in their strategy this year. Marketers’ interest in influencer marketing is being driven by a key fact: consumers and business buyers trust Word of Mouth 2X-3X more than paid media including ads. And nearly two-thirds (64%) of marketers believe Word of Mouth marketing is more effective than traditional marketing, according to a Jan. 2014 survey by AMA and the Word of Mouth Marketing Association.

While influencer marketing is powerful, many marketers face key challenges. The three most formidable roadblocks are how to identify relevant influencers; how to build an effective engagement strategy; and how to choose meaningful metrics and measurement approaches. Even if you’ve run multiple influencer marketing campaigns, you’ll leave this training program with a better understanding than ever on how to overcome these challenges to drive meaningful engagement and advocacy.
