Academic Placement

AMA's Academic Placement  is the industry's largest hiring event that offers the opportunity for applicants to interview and connect in person with prospective employers.  The event takes place during the AMA's Summer Academic Conference.  There are over 100 schools and 200 candidates that participate in AMA's annual Academic Placement.

How it Works
The hiring event is a place where candidates and schools meet to interview in-person over a 4-day period. Most candidates (and employers) have a full schedule of interviews while at the event. Your conference badge must be worn at all times.

With Interview Registration you will receive:
  • Inclusion in the guide of CVs sent to all employers
  • Access to a link listing interview locations
  • WiFi and daily refreshments provided in the lounge
  • Access to sessions and events at the Summer Academic Conference

How to Set Up Interviews

It is recommended that you reach out to schools in advance to set up your interviews. A list of schools who will be interviewing is listed on our Academic Placement Job Board
