The reservation cut-off date is October 14, 2017.
The AMA has negotiated special group rates for the Symposium for the Marketing of Higher Education. You must make your hotel reservations by October 14, 2017 and properly identify yourself to qualify for the special group rate (based on availability). After October 14, 2017, the rooms will be released for sale to the general public, and all reservations will be accepted on a space available basis at the hotel's available rate - not at the group rate. A credit card deposit in the amount of (1) one night’s room and tax for each confirmed room will be charged at time of booking. Cancellations made within 72 hours prior to arrival and no-shows will forfeit the initial deposit. If you fail to arrive on your confirmed arrival date, your entire reservation will be cancelled and your credit card will be charged for (1) one night’s room and tax.

Check in time is 4:00 p.m., and check out is at 11:00 a.m. Anyone arriving earlier than 4:00 p.m. will be checked in as soon as a room(s) becomes available. Guests checking out early may be assessed an early departure fee. Upon check in, guests will be asked to verify their departure date. At that time, scheduled departure dates may be altered.

Please note: Any hotel room booked outside the AMA negotiated block of rooms will not be reimbursed for expenses, including the need to cancel the event.

Conference attire is business casual. Meeting rooms tend to be cool, so you may want to bring a sweater/jacket.

Driving Directions 
From Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) 
Travel north on Interstate 75/85 to exit 248C for Andrew Young Inte
rnational Boulevard. Turn left onto the boulevard then right onto Peachtree Center Avenue. The hotel is two blocks on the right, approximately 15 miles from the airport.

Traveling south on Interstate 75/85
Take exit 249A for Courtland Street. Proceed to the third traffic light and turn right onto Andrew Young International Boulevard. Continue one block to Peachtree Center Avenue and turn right. The hotel is two blocks on the right.

Transportation
Taxis
Taxis are readily available at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The average fare from the airport to the hotel is $32.00 (tip subject to guests’ discretion).

Public Transportation
Travelers can board the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA)​ train inside the airport. Train fare is $2.50 one-way. The MARTA Peachtree Center Station has indoor access to the hotel. Fares are subject to change without notice.

Parking 
Valet parking is available at the hotel for $38.00 per day.​
